Frequent facials keep you glowing but how often and which one?

Compliment your skins natural cycle with regular facials.

When it comes to your skin’s health, regular facials and an essential skincare routine are important to assist your skin’s natural renewal process and help reveal a natural healthy-looking glow.

At CYB we know that our clients often have questions about facials, such as, which one to have, how often and why? We also believe it’s important for our clients to understand how to look after their skin and what happens when your equipped with more than just the right skincare products. Therefore, we have put some of your questions to the experts to help you understand the true benefits you’ll gain from having regular facials.

There are many types of facial treatments, and choosing the one you need depends on your own skin concerns and skin type. Some are highly moisturising, others are firming and restoring, while some focus on problem areas and certain skin conditions but no matter the type, all facials provide incredible benefits to your skin.

If you’ve had one specific facial before doesn’t mean you should or need to have that same facial again. Our skin is constantly changing and that’s what our trained experts are here to help you with, to devise a bespoke treatment plan for you and all your skincare needs.

Your skin cycle lasts 21 days. This means that to have an effective programme of facials and to see real long lasting results, we recommend having a facial every 3-4 weeks.

However, because people get facials for all different reasons, how often you should have a facial will depend on several factors such as your age, skin concern and skin type.

At CYB we provide a skin analysis before your facial, to assess your skin at that present moment and discuss with you your main concerns that you want us to tackle.

As you age your skin begins to tell a story, that story is defined by your lifestyle and choices. Most people will know that facials help to slow the aging process and prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, but did you know you don’t have to wait for the wrinkles to benefit from an anti-aging facial? These facials are designed to immediately increase the blood circulation and oxygen flow to promote collagen production and enhance the elasticity of your skin preventing early signs of aging to keep your skin looking nourished and hydrated.

We all know the number one golden rule, is to cleanse. We always tell our clients to cleanse morning and night, this helps to remove dirt, bacteria, oil and other toxins but during a facial you’ll experience a more enhanced, deeper cleanse than the one you do at home. By having regular facials, you will help to prevent breakouts and blemishes that could cause significant damage to your pores and skin

Did you know your face consists of hundreds of pressure points and during a facial, these pressure points regularly get massaged which helps to reduce the physical and psychological stress of your body.

Exfoliating is key and the reason is simple, dead skin cells can cause your skin to look dull and lifeless. By exfoliating you will be providing your skin the boost it needs to restore a healthy, radiant glow. Our experts use various methods, products and technology to help improve the texture and tone of your skin, leaving it feeling smoother, refreshed and rejuvenated

In today’s lifestyle, we are faced with a number of problems that contribute to acne breakouts, dead skin cells are one of the problematic contaminants that cause these breakouts. They can clog the pores and cause inflammation which turns into pimples. Most facial treatments will be accompanied by an exfoliation which will help remove any dead skin cells that could potentially clog pores and cause a breakout. The combination of exfoliation and a facial treatment can be a strong tool to combat acne breakouts.
