Floatation therapy is an age old therapy combining deep relaxation with the benefits
of absorbing high levels of magnesium sulphate.

At Cloud 9 Therapies we wanted to take those benefits one stage further, in order to
help with chronic health conditions and pain management.
We have created a range of treatments, designed with this aim in mind.

Aqua-shi

A therapy based on the ancient teachings of Shiatsu. Shiatsu (meaning finger
pressure) is a form of Japanese bodywork based on concepts from Chinese
medicine.

While you float our expert therapist will apply gentle pressure to acupressure points,
assisted stretching and joint manipulation / mobilization to your body. Great for
treating chronic muscle pain, sciatica and general stiffness. It is also good for other
common conditions such as headaches, sleep disturbances, stress, anxiety and
pregnancy discomfort.

Cranial Neck Massage

Designed to release stiffness and tension carried in the neck and shoulders. While
you float our highly experienced therapist will gently rotate and manipulate your
head to release all your built up pressure.

Aqua-Reflex

While you benefit from a float you can now combine this with a Relexology foot
massage. Reflexology is an alternative medicine involving the application of
pressure to the feet (or hands) with specific thumb and finger techniques. It is based
on a system of zones/reflex areas that stimulate energy and release blockages in
specific, problematic or pained areas of the body.

Our expert therapist will gently manipulate and press certain parts of your feet,
which will effect change in particular organs and parts of the body.
Reflexology helps increase energy levels within the body, aid circulation, improve
the function of the Central Nervous System, as well as helping with a range of other
common conditions.

Aqua-Lymhatic

Floatation therapy is renowned for being anti-inflamatory and detoxifying. This can
be enhanced further by combining it with a lymphatic drainage massage.
Our therapist will use gentle massage techniques to stimulate lymph flow towards
the lymph nodes and heart. It will encourage the natural drainage of lymph away
from bodily tissues and reduce waste and toxins.

This treatment will benefit anyone suffering with lymphedema, fatigue and
circulatory problems. It will assist those trying to give up addictions, by helping
