What is a Thai Massage?
Thai massage is an ancient healing system combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. It works on the meridian (energy) lines within the body. When you become ill, the flow of energy around the body has become blocked or is not flowing as freely as it should. When you have a Thai massage it encourages the flow of energy, bringing harmony and balance to the body.

What To Expect In Your Treatment:
Thai is different from other forms of massage for a number of reasons; one being the massage takes place on a massage mat on the floor. During your session your therapist will ask a series of questions and observations to assess where your areas of concern are.
There is constant body contact between the therapist and client, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked. This may include pulling fingers, toes, ears, cracking knuckles, walking on the clients back, and moving the clients body into many different positions.
The massage generally follows designated lines (“sen”) in the body. The legs and feet of the therapist can be used to position the body or limbs of the client. In other positions, hands fix the body, while the feet do the massaging. The therapist will be positioned in a variety of yoga-like positions during the massage, that is also combined with deep static and rhythmic pressures.
55 minute full body massage, or alternatively book 85 minutes with an authentic sea salt body scrub and shower.
Or for a more intense treatment why not go for the ultimate full body workout! 115 minutes including full body body scrub and Thai Foot Massage too.
