What is a Lymphatic Drainage Massage?

The lymph system is a slow-moving system of vessels and lymph nodes that is supplementary to the body’s system of blood and circulation. The lymph system both delivers nutrients to the cells and carries away excess water, cellular waste, bacteria, viruses and toxins.

The main cause of poor lymph flow is poor lifestyle choices e.g. Lack of exercise and/or poor diet. Others are pollutants, surgery, trauma, or pregnancy.

The stated treatment times include time to get changed at the beginning and end of your treatment. If you are a new client, we do ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your treatment to complete a consultation. Arriving late to your appointment may mean we have to shorten your session.
